New Family Member

We recently added a new member to our family. We adopted a three month old (now four month old) Great Dane/Hound mix from the humane shelter. Her name is Roxy. She's a pretty good puppy and is getting along with everyone. Well... everyone but the cat. Eddie's coming around though and I'm sure they'll be friends before long. We're excited to see how big Roxy will actually get. We might need to find a barn to keep our new horse in!

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun for Caden this year. I think he's finally beginning to understand how it all works. He had a fun party with his friends at daycare and then went trick-or-treating with mom. We started with the neighbors house and he kept wanting to go to just one more house. At the 19th house we ran into a high school boy dressed as a clown and that was the end of our fun. I'm surprised his little legs made it as far as they did. We had a good time and he made an awesome Batman. Now I have to figure out how to make all the candy disappear!

The Joys of Potty Training

Caden invented a new potty training technique. Apparently if you wear the potty seat on your head, it works much better. What ever works I guess!

Caden's New Bed

Caden has decided that he didn't want a "baby" room anymore. He wanted a new sailboat room complete with a new "Big Boy" bed. We spent the weekend moving out all the baby stuff and putting together his new bed. In the next couple of weeks we will be putting the finishing touches on his big boy sailboat room. Now the real test will be if he actually sleeps in it or not. Cross your fingers!

Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch last Saturday. Caden had lots of fun with his friends Kamryn and Brody. We rode the train, took a hay rack ride, played in the hay, and picked out three pumpkins. It was lots of fun!
